We were lost to her right then and there. There was a look in her eyes that spoke of hope for a better future for herself (she had been abused) and for us. How right she was. We have had a most wonderful 9 years with our girl and I know that these memories will get me through what needs to be done. Thank you so much for your thoughts - they help me to cope. I find that a huge amount of people are full of garbage though and only waiting for someone to off load it on. No one wants to take responsibility for their actions, so if you can just laugh it off and get on with life, then you are doing yourself a huge favour. Its something I never learned to do for many years but I guess it comes with age! I think it says much more about them than it does about me.
